Our Community:
The Local Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'ís of El Paso welcomes you to our community. You are invited to learn more about the
Bahá'í Faith and its efforts to unite and rebuild
communities around the world and here at home. Through
Study Circles,
Children's Classes,
Junior Youth Empowerment Programs, and
Devotional Gatherings,
as well as other socio-economic development projects, the Bahá'í International Community is working at the grassroots to breakdown
social barriers that divide us while at the same time building a new culture of
unity based on the following principles:
The Bahá'í Faith is the youngest of the world's
independent religions. Its founder, Bahá'u'lláh (1817-1892), is regarded by
Bahá'ís as the most recent in the line of Messengers of God that stretches
back beyond recorded time and that includes Abraham, Moses, Buddha, Krishna,
Zoroaster, Christ and Muhammad. The central theme of Bahá'u'lláh's
message is that humanity is one single race and that the day has come for its
unification in one global society.
We invite you to learn more.
